Victoria and Katie to design children's clothing? Children's clothing may be the latest to get the celebrity makeover with Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes set to design their own range, according to media reports.



The pair are known to be close friends and also have a reputation for being style icons, with Victoria already having written her own book of fashion tips, entitled That Extra Half Inch, as well as having her own brand of perfume.

It was after Holmes sketched out some designs for a party dress for the birthday of her baby daughter, Suri, that the pair came up with the idea of starting the project, a source told the Daily Express newspaper.

The source said: "They are both really excited about this new project.

"Katie recently sketched out some designs for a party dress for Suri's first birthday and Victoria saw there was the potential there for the two of them to come up with some great designs."

Holmes has one daughter with husband Tom Cruise, while Beckham, who is set to move to the US, has sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz with former England football captain David.
